CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – SpaceX is set to begin its December launch manifest with a Falcon 9 rocket carrying the Starlink 6-86 mission from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center. The liftoff is scheduled for Friday, December 1, at 2:44 a.m. EST, aiming to deploy more satellites for the company’s global broadband internet constellation.
This launch marks the 152nd Falcon 9 flight for SpaceX in 2025, with 110 of these missions dedicated to expanding the Starlink network. The company anticipates a busy month, with multiple missions planned before the year’s end.
The first stage booster, designated B1095, will be undertaking its fourth flight. It previously supported three other Starlink missions. Following stage separation, the booster is expected to perform a controlled descent and attempt a vertical landing on the autonomous drone ship ‘Just Read the Instructions,’ positioned in the Atlantic Ocean. A successful landing would mark the 144th recovery on this particular vessel.
Spaceflight Now will provide live coverage of the mission, beginning approximately one hour prior to the scheduled launch time. The Starlink constellation continues to grow, providing internet access to users across various regions globally.
